I would say depends on yr budget, enthusiasm and your personal preference.

Some ladies are fussy using 2nd hand stuff while some dun mind.

Some wanna get something suitable from beginner till intermediate level thus they are willing to spend upfront.

Some gets tired learning or even gets tired playing 18 hole due to the hot weather and gave up golf totally.

So...hope the above questions helps u to confirm your interest.

if you r trying out this game....2nd hand clubs consisting of 7iron, pitching wedge and a putter will set u up to learn lessons from a coach (I suggest paying for a coach unless u prefer self learning but tedious process)

If budget permits, keep a lookout for 2nd hand set ranging at 200-400+ (depending on condition and popularity of clubs).

If budget not a concern.... grab a new set after seeking some advice from Grians.

My personal opinion....is the 1st or 2nd option...so u leave room to upgrade once your swing slightly stabilised

hope these helps.

abd welcome to GR and the golfing world

Hi nomic76, I heard there is a secondhand shop selling golf clubs sets at Chinatown. Would be great if anyone know the name or number that I can call and ask.

Thank you for your advice on my issues.

There...tons of options. If possible, visit a few places to get a feel of 2nd hand prices of sets.

Generally, if I may, marumum and mizuno are few good brands ladies like to use.

Good luck and enjoy your golf journey.
