My thoughts would be:

1. Clear vision in spite of the shade.
2. UV protection.
3. Stylish.
4. Ability to see breaks, read lines and sense putts perfectly.

Ok, so 3 out of 4 would be good. I don't need stylish sunglasses Razz

TS... that sounds more like a wish list...

.... 4. Ability to see breaks, read lines and sense putts perfectly. ....

I am also talking about technical specs here...

UV protection is one...
Clear vision is another...

for me... i was thinking about...

the 'vents' for ventilation... it can get quite hot and muggy golfing out there in Singapore...
how about dual tinting? like i notice in my Sundogs, then the bottom half of the lenses are clear... helps in reading the green...

personally... i find myself to be able to read the green more clearly with my shades off...

I have a set of the "Greenreader" goggles.... Supposedly developed for golf, they make everything look brighter..... even on an overcast day... I have a spare set if you want to try......

Must be Oakley ... hehehe ... might help psychologically ... although I feel that the ball looks bigger when I am wearing my sunglasses i.e. looks easier to hit.

If one is with high degree or aesthetic.....then very limited...coz I am one and went trying fm Oak to Adi to Rub.....then until no choice go for std frames with tinted frames....

Thus, the only requirements is that is has high UV...

alamak i have a degree of 300. i've been dreaming of getting an oakley with prescription on it though.. is that possible? and would precription render whatever UV/Tint/GreenReading capabilities the lens might have useless?

I have Oakley glasses and sunglasses which have powered lenses. However, golf sunglasses are a different breed. I'm not sure if they can reproduce the lenses with power. Too bad if they can't.

Am wondering, do you people look through the len or look under the len when addressing?

For myself, when i look through the len, i feel my head is dropping down but when looking through under the len, i feel my head is too upright.

So at the end, i dont wear sunglass when golfing

i notice not all pro's wear the glasses thru out the game....

some i notice, when taking the stroke, they will take off... they will put it on when walking towards the ball.....

My friend has a pair of adidas with degree leh. Think costs around $300. For me, I have Oakley but can never wear it when golf. 100% will duff the shot.
