My average drive with my old TM R7 is about 250. Biggest moment of glory is driving the green on 320 yard Par 4 at Thana City in Bangkok.

With a snake eyes driver, the average is down to about 230. Hitting my friends Titleist... wow, thats a sweet driver!

I can't claim to be "good". Just hope to be even better. Meaning straight and far drives from the T Box.

Btw is there a difference in the distance of a normal cavity iron set vs a blade set? The difference in distance is very minor I presume? Chose the VR Pro blades due to the nice look as well as the extra feel on impact.

true. but with that distance have to rely on longer irons for fairway shot. I still prefer 240m+ drives that leave you with only 80-115m. Can use a wedge.

I scare to play against Duval. My blood turn cold and stem right down my nerves everytime he hit a shot.
He is deadly.

i just read up on some pga stats.

in pga tour, the pros hit 8 out of 10 greens from 100-125 yards, this is what bro khoe is doing.

scratch amateurs only hit 7 out of 10 greens at best from this distance. personally i only hit the green from this distance 30% of the time.

bro khoe must be a scratch golfer, or better than scratch.

Throughout the entire 18 holes game, if I can get 3 GIR, (Par 3 excluded) I am a very happy man.

I just played recently with ZX, his drives all longer than 250m, why is he hitting only 30% off 100-125m for his 2nd shot. scratch

What abt those par5 shots?

Actually be it a long bomber or normal drive; with good course management (proper placement of shots) you can still get decent score even if you irons not so stable.

Just sharing, my GIR for 50yards-70yards is 20% for my last round. Happen to have a chance to play this course overseas(currently still overseas Very Happy). Those quarter shots is taxing for me and i rather have a full shot to the green. Scored 87 with 2 double pars and 4 double bogey which is +16.Those firm fairways and tight grass makes my wedges looks like a plastic club. They are so hard while in singapore, my wedges are working fine as singapore here soil is much softer. Still manage to maintain my average of 9 pars and 1 birdie.

Quite interested in khoe hdp too, Even with a 18hdp short game, but with such high standards long game, also can be single handicap. To reach the minimum single handicap of 9, you have play 50% GIR, maximum bogey for every miss GIR and 2 putt every GIR for steady 81.

I love watching LPGA nowadays. Their games are close to our games, unlike those superhuman in PGA tour. Back to the topics, those ladies have 220-240y drivers but still manage to shoot sub 70 score, consistently ;0
