My 0.02.. not worth much.

kick point is supposedly the point in the shaft where majority of the shaft flex/bow/deflection/bend/(what you want to call this action) is experienced.

high kick = kick point higher up on the shaft, nearer to your grip
low kick = kick point lower down on the shaft, nearer the clubhead.

in that vein, low kick would be slightly more "active" near the clubhead; increasing the effective dynamic loft during the swing hence launching higher, and vice versa..

Whether it's true or if you can feel/experience this... is a different story.

sidekick = little kar kia/good buddy... like Morocco Mole.
kick in the nuts = what you want to avoid.. and one of those things I don't think a female really understands

Actually i been seeing this indication on shafts for a while, just that i always think that its not important for me since i am still green in this game.
Recently got plans to get another driver thats why i think i shld know abit more about this 'kick' thingy. Very Happy

It will be expensive by buying without trying and not happy w it trying it out later...very likely to be a bad shopping cycle.

I suggest u go to a demo day listed in the free Golf newsletter or to a clubfitter if u are serious. That way, u can try out what suits u or not. Makes the purchase easier too.
