does ibs stands for irritable bowel syndrome?

i just did a search and that was what i found and it happened to be a syndrome that i am suffering from!

i didn't know there was such syndrome until you posted this.

i would like to know some remedy as well. the syndrome usually comes in the evening, making me feel bloated and causing me unable to sleep.

i suspected it to be caused by milk, as i take a lot of milk, together with my protein powder.

but just last sunday, i had that discomfort after i finished my 7th month dinner. No milk, hence i suspect it to be the fizzy beer i had. can't sleep the whole night. Wanna take some ENO, but none left. Took Gaviscon, but didn't help. Got my wife to rub some oinment for me, 1 hour late, all the gas was released.

I get it when:

(1) I skip a meal, get very hungry, try to make it up with a big meal after AND/OR
(2) I eat too much, too fast.

My current and most effective antidote to date (for me anyway): Home-brewed oolong tea. Really helps me keep the pain and discomfort to a minimum.

I managed to control my IBS when I come to realise that I cannot "buy improvement" in my game. Now I make sure I work hard with what I have as often the problem lies with the indian and not the arrow.
