PostSubject: OCC Certification Test    Mon Dec 01, 2014 12:27 pm

I've just got my MGK membership and I'm looking to play at OCC in a few weeks time.

I'm being visited by a few golf playing friends who I'd like to take with me and I believe that if they don't have a handicap card then they will need to do a Certification Test on the range before the round.

Could somebody let me know what this consists of so I can let the guys know in advance?

Thanks Smile

Not sure if such a test available in OCC. However, for MBGC, you need to pay $10 for the resident Pro to verify if you're fit to play on the course. He prolly asks you to hit a few balls. The license to play is valid for a month only. Your friend may have to go early for the test. Prolly one hour in advance.

For those with OCC's PC card, need to do a swing test at MBGC?

I think PC can only play on weekdays ... For weekend, you need a Handicap card ... For OCC, one definitely need a handicap card.
