Probably not for another year according to their track record... But who knows Wink
Probably November this year?
However their irons hardly has any dramatic changes. Your call!

Usually they launch product every two years. The 714 series have been around for more than a year, so probably end of the year or next year.

eh but the 714 and the 712 not much difference? does anyone know?

also, are they easy to sell if i don't like them?

last, to be honest, i don't feel much difference between irons made by different companies.. to me its a marketing thing, but the thing is i feel that some people buy the more atas brands to look nice when the play with clients etc…

714 vs 712. Changes are cosmetic i.e satin finish of the 714 and chrome finish on the 712.

The leading edge has also been ground to make it more blunt than the 712s, and Titleist claims they have a medallion that makes the feel softer.

Having gone for a fitting with both the 712s and 714s AP2s, the feel is definitely different, and I do prefer the Satin to the Chrome.

714 also has visibly less offset than 712, on paper it's almost the same, but they redesigned the hosel to make it less obvious... visibly... I've owned 712 as well as 714 so between HitSoft's comments and mine, you've got most of the info. Good luck Smile

satin is non-reflective and chrome is very shiny. Has nothing to do with feel, it's just the aesthetics.

From my own experience, the Ap2 is more forgiving than the tm 300. But the tm 300 had better feel.

The off center hits for the 300 can be quite ugly, so I guess that's why the notion that it's not suitable for beginners, assuming they do not find the centre of the clubface consistently.

But ultimately, if you feel confident and comfortable with what you have now, by all means stick with it. Most important thing is to be able to enjoy the game!

Forgiveness for most clubs is mostly for off centre hits, such that the end result is "acceptable".
If u swing it bad, no club can help u even one with the face size of a ping pong bat.
There is no "best" club, just find one that you are happy and confident with.

Hi there,

Just two months before, my questions
Is roughly the same as u. One of the senior
Suggested to buy the club(brand) that u like.
And I feel very true about it. Though newbie,
I am hitting almost the same distance with
Titleist CB and those more forgiving club.
I would suggest to buy used club rather
then new club as the prices are a lot different.
Hope this helps.

Regards,
Eferata

Good discussions here,

Looking at this and others you have recently posted, you're at a stage where there's a lot of choices and certainly will be fun and exciting.

Why is there a club manufacturer that you would feel comfortable with?
Many brands have their own know how of how heavy (or light) their clubs are, which will give a certain value of club MOI, head MOI and Swing weight. Our anatomy is unique and will react to certain design in the market. The best way to find the manufacturer to your natural swing will be to try different types of clubs, brands, etc. Once you've identified it, then the chances of finding a club you would prefer will be much easier.

There's almost no point in asking people what is the best club, like the clothes you wear you just have to find the best one for you.

Have fun!

You can go to demo different clubs at Taka, Isetan scotts, golf range etc.
You will discover other aspects like feel, offset, forgiveness, accuracy, trajectory before buying.
Or you can go to used shops at fesc and ask around.

I had the opportunity to demo many clubs when Golf Digest had its demo day.
Besides titleist, brands like Cobra, Mizuno and Bridgestone have good sets too.

If you are into JDMs, i would recommend Yamaha (and yes they make pianos and motorbikes too).
