Talk about keppel's new home or soon to be new or rumours of new home oe whatever. So long not about laguna good enough, subject too sensitive for the moment....

That's too bad. But it seems like it was bound to happen.

ya hor, may be should correct it as laguna's soon to 36 holes.

The word from Mr Lam, is that its a 18 in Lor Halus, checked in streetdirectory, it is located Serangoon side. But for me, it is rather far.

I guess, i am destined to be a free roamer.

Only 17 more to go at Laguna CC's renovated new course!

Let's do the maths--- one hole built per years comes to?

I will be past retirement age by then!

Shocked

Changi CC to near Lorong Halus within ten years?

Keppel GC to ???? in 2021?

A new driving range to be built near Punggol in 2012?

And...LCC still not finished with the back nine of the World Classic Course?

My World Classic-logoed golf cap is already fading from old age--really!

CK,
Nothing to do with Changi CC, I meant the word on proposed location for Keppel could be Lor Halus.

Okay. Keppel at Lorong Halus possible.

BTW, this LCC thread is posted under the correct section--Humour/Jokes.

It just too bad the 'joke' may be on current LCC members.

My friends who are members there are already up in arms over he whole fiasco--paying full membership dues for only 18-holes available (cannot even get slots during weekends many times).

Let's wait to see what happens.

i heard about a rumour that keppel may be relocacted to near bt panjang/dairy farm area... there's some jungle there, beside the bke, which could make way for a 18-hole.
i'm not sure if its anywhere near the truth, but just hearsay... anyway, we are all speculating here, right?

i think lamts18 news on lor halus is pretty accurate....

no titanium drivers please because it will create sparks and sparks can start fire when in contact with gas.

You guys are too free on a Sun.Laughing

FYI, MP Prof Jeyakumar played in the afternoon.

If more VIPs come, then maybe Gahmen will consider to extend the lease for another 15yrs which is what we are hoping for.

There is no official word on relocating... Even among the mgmt and staff of Keppel.

This is what I know for sure, Seletar requested for an additional plot of land for 18holes and they were offered the plot of land at Lor Halaus.

Not too sure if Seletar has picked it up.

If Keppel is moving then like, seletar didnt pick it up. I was initially planning to buy Keppel, now that they are not too sure, I guess, I better shelf the plans.

Question hor: Is it normal for club to ask the members to fund for a move like this?
