Welcome to the club and happy golfing!

Words of advice, buy only what you need or face kana poison from buying too much. LOL

My 2 cents. hehe....

Cheers

Hi k0pking1o, first up welcome to Golf Republic family.

As for the set, think it's a very good deal, you get everything you need for just $250. From the description, the set has all the forgiveness for ease of use, so you can't go wrong. Don't worry about the brand since you are just beginning, there is enough technology built into the clubs to help you with the game.

There are usually two ways to go about buying a set for a beginner. Either buy an all in set like the one you are thinking of, which is cheaper. Then upgrade to a better set after improving, selling off the first one. Or invest in a good set for the long term right from the start. That could set you back upwards of $1000.

The 2nd option requires commitment to the game right from the start. Too many people have invested in a good set only to quit after finishing basic lessons.

The 1st option gives you leeway to continue or quit down the road, and also to upgrade to a better set when you are more knowledgeable about the game. Might be better to take this route.

Hope I've been of some help.

Congrats on your buy, glad it works for you. Keep the interest going by joining in the Starry Starry Nites. Makes the game more fun if you have kakis. Helps to relief the frustration too when not playing well.
