 can driver shaft be used on 5 wood?

PostSubject: can driver shaft be used on 5 wood?   Tue Apr 14, 2015 3:41 pm

would appreciate advice on whether it is possible to install a driver shaft with R flex on a 5w (of course to maintain the R flex in the 5w)?  Thanks in advance

Yes you can. Cut down to a 5 wood length. For a stiffer flex can trim the tip end. Depends on what you want.

Usually you need to trim it to maintain the same flex.
Go to the shaft manufacturer website.
They will have trimming instructions.
Likely need to trim 1" off the tip.
