I have been always finding difficulty to do a weight transfer on my body as such, it shortens my distance.
I have been struggling whether to drop my hand swing first or rotate my body first to do a weight transfer.
Can anyone advise?

As per your topic heading I'd start with getting a good coach and go back to basics.
There are a lot of good teaching professionals in SG and I'm sure you can find one that suits you.
