Hi Elvingolf.

Welcome to the Golf Republic. Access to the Marketplace is restricted to users who have less than 10 posts. So, if you spend a bit more time to say hello and share your comments on other threads, you'll be able to reach the requisite 10 posts very quickly. Thereafter, you can start a WTB thread in the Marketplace.

What driver is that? The Tour Burner, the R7 460, R9, or the Burner? I'm guessing that's 460cc, 54 gm shaft, and 4.2 torque, with 10.5* of loft. Got a pic you can share?

Another thing -- rather than to guess your way through clubs, why not just go down to BFG and get them to put you on a launch monitor to see if your preferred driver is really putting down numbers that are helping you? Personally, a good driver head has to be reasonably forgiving, pleasing to the eye at set up, and in my case, set up slightly open. The power and shiokness really come from the shaft, and frankly, I don't really care about the brand or model of shafts any more -- it's about whether it works for me or not...

Considering that you are starting out in the game, the last thing you want is to build your swing around your equipment and start developing bad habits, e.g. with 10.5*, you might find the ball launching too high, then you make corrections to your swing to flatten it, resulting in a flatter swing plane that introduces a duck hook into your irons.

Good driver, very forgiving. I have seen a couple at Far East Shopping Centre. Check B1 Leisure Sports, look for Elaine there. Alternatively, you can try Greenfield Golf on Level 2 and ask for Hock Yong
