I understand these are not so popular. Everyone seems to be going for the newports.
You can try browsing at the 2nd hand shops in Far East Shopping Centre, might be able to find.

Cheers

Since we are not pros, i reckon you can just pick the one that looks the best to you and just have fun with it.

Rafj, thanks bro! i saw that! but 33inch is too short for me. i think.

i'm going to turn to Malaysia to see if i can find the older models there. heh.

IMHO, it starts with you liking the look and feel when you hold the putter.  A putter can last a long time (look at Jordan Spieth) so it is worth the investment.

Hey guys,

For what it's worth, I started with an Odessey White Ice, the neck didn't suit my stroke.
Next I used the old Acushnet, bullseye. This let me place my ball near hole, but no one-putts. So I upgrade to the mod 90 which was amazingly soft but the ball rolled all over the green.
Tried the sqbacks, the new ports, bullseye.. was an expensive "journey", they just didn't hit the spot. Gotta look to eBay.
Then a Studio Select came about and we been making my golf kakis have been flabbergasted ever since.

All the best in your search.

I might have a Squareback somewhere in the back of the storeroom or my friends may have taken it. PM if you are keen and I will see what I can do. BTW, the holiday edition is super nice! a bit sayang to use.

myojomee, I saw your message too late!

I bit the bullet and got myself one of the new models. Excited to bring it out for a spin on the green soon.

After all, it is a journey that I must undertake. No shortcuts in trying.

For many years, my method for choosing a putter was to make sure that the serial number did not contain the number 3 in it.

This past year I have probably gone through more than 10 putters in my search for the One. No matter what I tried, the results have been the same. I will have periods of superb putting, averaging 28-30 putts and then when days I will add another 4 to 6 additional putts.

The guys in my inner circle will know that the past week I have been fortunate enough to meet with Bill Presse Senior and fitted with a Directed Force Putter and I am waiting eagerly for my putter to arrive in 4-6 weeks time. The results I experienced on the greens at Albert Park Driving Range was quite phenomenonal and I can't say I have been this excited over a new putter for a long time.

Wow, quite superstitious, crayon.

Did u ever get your hands on a serial number with only 1 and 2 in it?

I have learned that our equipment and the hole know when we are second guessing our stroke, especially on fast greens.  Golfers who are good at putting execute their stroke with full commitment. Even when the putt did not go in, they know that the stroke was not half hearted.  They would have learned something about the speed and break of the green and will bring that knowledge to the next hole.

When we tighten up our stroke during the throughswing and start looking at the hole before completing our stroke, that is a sign that we are second guessing our decisions.  If the ball goes in, we will think that we are lucky, thereby not learning much about the speed and breaks for the day.

Confidence and full commitment are the ingredients for 1 and 2 putts.
