I guess most exec course will give same reply if u call n ask. Like for NSRCC, they also say need PC. But if u 'forget' to bring, just take a FOC swing test n u can commence play. E card is valid for 6mths.

just my 2cents

need to find a cheaper executive course to practice. Very Happy

I personallly find NSRCC executive course the best. can use up to 3 wood to drive. Grass is well maintained like a proper golf course.

I went there many times without a PC.

SAFRA member can get discount.

If I remember correctly, I only pay abt $21.xx per game.

jus went last weekend.... no longer hv discount for SAFRA member....
it jus normal pricing...

The counter will ask lei whether hv PC or handicap n check it... u so good ah, dun need to produce it....

like the par 3 course at NSRCC but there's too many slopes..... very shack from pullin the trolley...

Went to recee today. The membership is half yearly basis. 214/6mth.
Member play weekday 16 bucks for 9hole. Walk in 42/9holes.
Stood at the top look down at the hole 1 i think the terrain looks scary for newbie like me. Was thinking then, if my shots go off then how to hit it back Sia...

The annoying thing about green fairways is that cash is no good at the counter!! Where else in the world would turn away CASH and ask for card only??

Singapore is going cashless... good for the company and staff... can be a hassle for the staff to go bank everyday to deposit the money and I guess for security reasons.

I'm a newbie and enjoy NSRCC on a weekday morning, at 7am! I can play alone, take my time and drive multiple times and practise my short game. I hate hole 2 and 3, always hit tree or donate to the pond......

anyway, back to the topic, green fairways pay $40 play on cow grass and walk up and down hill.

Better go other place like keppel play 9 holes. If I am not wrong, its $59 and you get to use buggy, have nice shower and can even use massage chair. Grass condition also better than green fairways lah. Score card also can keep and submit for handicap.

for $36, you can go malaysia Austin hills and play 18 holes. Grass and green condition abt the same as green fairways.

for $21 (safra member), you can play at NSRCC executive, excellent greens machum like real golf course.

The way I see, green fairways really not worth the money lah.

I saw from the website, the rates are for members (not safra members)
Anyone can clarify?

i think green fairways is a good experience for beginners who are looking to make the step up to HC... cos it's a much better proxy for a 'real course' compared to the other executives available locally...

but it's really $$ ya... can only go when get bonus kind Laughing

The U-turn is Hole 2, a Par 5.

Siong course but good for exercise.

They have a 2 tier driving range there... but conditions of the mat and balls quite run down..

However you do get the occasional rich SYTs that go practice there... What a Face
