Went down to Green Fairways Driving range...well as said, the balls were half new and half worn but that is ok. What I dislike is the mat which is almost botak. Maybe I have always been spolit by excellent mats at NSRCC. I guess there are some good points for all the not so good balls and mat; you need to hit clean - well at least force to hit clean and there is a nice water hole next to the range Smile Yes SYTs were there;) though its out of my equation...

I bought a card for $6 (non refundable) and top up $30. I think 1 credit is 45 balls. Not sure how many credits for my $30...

Can I check if Green Fairways is considered easier or on par with Jurong Executive?

Green fairways is definitely more challenging than Jurong executive, unless something happened to Jurong executive that i didn't know.. (havent been there in some while)

green fairways has lots of undulations as compared to jurong executive, which has everything all laid out for you

I've never been checked at Jurong, although that is where I got my PC anyways. Not sure about Green Fairways.

Regarding Green Fairways, is the course as muddy or waterlogged as Mandai? Playing at Mandai is like going outfield again........Jurong is much better maintained I feel.....

it's 10 credit ,but if you bought of 20 credit they used to put 2 credit additional which is equal to 22 credit

As far as I know, GF does not check for PC or handicap, but they will ask for your HI during registration.

PLayed Green Fairways this week and was very pleasantly surprised.
Course is in a much better condition than 4-5 months ago.
Greens are better maintained, however still slow (except for 1 or 2 greens, which are fast).
Fairways actually quite good. Rough as usual, either ball gone or an easy shot.
Managed to play 9 holes in 1 hour and 40 minutes, so quite good to leave work early and squeeze in 9 holes during the week!

It is always +/- 50 SGD week or weekend, maybe 10 dollar difference.
Last flight around 4:30pm - 5pm if I am not wrong.

Any GRians playing/ practicing regularly at this course weekday morning ?
I am planning to visit quite regularly now- hit by golf bugs... Timing after sending kid to school, for brief work out at range or a 9 holes before work.
