I understand there are B330-RXS and cheaper e7. Anybody using these balls now. How it is ?

I buy the B330-RX for between$59 to $69 per box when I passed by Singapore. Golf balls is most expensive in Indonesia and cheaper in USA. You can even have your name print on the ball if you buy more than 2 boxes from most of the on line stores in the States.

Can anybody recommend me other brand of ball to try if I only have a swing speed of 90 - 92 mph on my driver ?

Hi Slicer, for your info, ProV1 & 1x has a compression ratio of 85 which is considered low by any standard. It is equivalent to those indicated soft feel balls on the outside of the box of other brands. Most normal ball without the soft feel are around 90 to 110 compression ratio. I have just read this Pro V1 compression and was surprise. My swing speed is around 85 - 90 and I find that Pro V1 suits me very well. It has good distance and able to stop on the green with a hop and halt action if you hit it right. But this is personal feel.

When you are that good, you could use a pebble and still score better than me Smile

Hi Titurman,
Thanks for the input, Bro. Most of my golf buddy use ProV1 too. Beside it is expensive, now I know why I did not use it as much because I still cannot hit it well heee Embarassed

By the way, I understand Pro V have V1 & 1x ? ( in black and red number on the ball, I think ). Which would you recommend that I use for my swing speed and skill ? Thx

I recommend ProV1 without the 'x'. Pro V1x are for those with higher swing speed. It works better for them. Thats what I understand. For my standard, I play both and still unable to tell the difference because my swing speed is low.

had tried NXT Tour, Soft Feel, Juice, TP Black LDP (i think) and Zero Fiction.

So far, NXT Tour gives the most balance between spin and distance.

Now trying out Burner, although ball fitting says should go for Trispeed Tour.

Anyone know where got sell Trispeed Tour?

Tks for your update man..

So think it will be hard the older Maxfli balls.. pale

Arhh... $20 bucks for 5 boxes of Noodle..... very good $$$$.

Birdman wrote:
Hillgreen, The new Maxfli you see on the market is not the same as the old Maxfli.

The original Maxfli company was bought over by TaylorMade for it's ball technology to get into the ball making business.

TaylorMade has now sold it to Dick's Sporting Goods. Not sure what technology they got along with the company name. But I think they are producing low to mid-priced balls now and leaving out the premium end of things. Look up Dick's Sporting Goods on the net and you might get an idea as to what this entails for the Maxfli brand they bought over.

I think you missed out on the Isetan sale they had where they were lelonging 5 boxes of Noodles for $20 bucks. At that price, any ball is good value. ROFL

FYI,

Please check hor. There is Burner LDP and Burner TP LDP. Burner LDP is a distance ball with low spin and Burner TP LDP is a mid-spin ball. Much like the NXT and NXT Tour.
