Hi dcschan,

Try to keep your group size for lesson small. I won't recommend anything more the 3 person.
a group of 3 student (10 lesson with PC) would cost you about $500 per head.

I am currently learning at Keppel club.

If you wanna learn in more "comfortable" environment, there's a shop at United Square area called Persim*** Golf, run by an elderly uncle who conducts lessons in the shop. GOT AIR-CON!!! Smile
Pricing is quite ok too...

thanks everyone for the warm welcome Smile

missmoon, i'll definitely join you guys as soon as i get some lessons under my belt, it'll be very funny if i turn up without any knowledge or equipment rite? do you know how i can contact the resident pro regarding lessons?

nrafee, is your instructor good? i currently stay at redhill so keppel looks like the nearest location for me though i don't mind traveling a little further if the quality of instruction is better.

Hi dcschan,

I think you can just pop by during the gathering. There is usually a couple of pros joining Starry Starry Night. Take the opportunity to let them give you a 'trial lesson' and gauge for yourself if you feel comfortable with that particular coach before you decide where to get your lessons. You can also check out the Star Academy downstairs for their rates.

As for clubs... it will be the least of your concern during the gathering... just don't throw it downstairs can liao! (whoever you are borrowing from) lol!

hi ydk,

sure, i'll be taking it together with my wife and we're looking for 1 or 2 (but not more than that) to join us, so let's do it together if possible. we would prefer it to be at keppel or around the area (marina is good too), is that ok with you?

yeah that would be great. the previous beginner course i took many yrs ago while overseas involved a coach and 15 pupils. Did not work out for me at all.

I'm fine with anywhere actually. Though Monday to Fridays have to be after 7, Saturdays have to be after 4 but Sundays I'm free all day. Is my schedule ok with your side?
