a bit risky cos the ferrule is there for a purpose and now it is loosen... why not ask our resident club fitter?
if i were you, I bring to a club fitter to get the ferrule changed...
Also noticed that the hosel (hope the term is correct!) near to the club head got some chipped
maybe time for new driver? Twisted Evil

Ferrule is mainly cosmetic as mizzy rightfully pointed out.

is that the black stuff epoxy? or is it shaft chip?

this hosel looks like it has been heated using a flame gun and not a heat gun in the previous shaft extraction (i can be wrong unless i see this under normal lighting).

if its not properly done, the hosel can break but you can still save the head as we can buy and instal the hosel. the only thing you will lose is the serial no on the hosel.

double check the logo on the grip, it is out of position, it may be its more than the ferrule thats loose.

If its the ferrule only then its fine, this can be pushed back easily and you are fine to use the club.

As for the damage to the hosel that looks like its been done during some work on the club. The hosel of the 907 is aluminum to save weight and is screwed in with a reverse thread. Hosels are not available for sale after market.
