PostSubject: 10 year Beginner   Mon May 03, 2010 3:56 pm

Hi, everyone, I was introduced by Nicholas to your forum and haven't got a chance to introduce myself.

I have been playing golf for more than 10 years but still consider myself as a beginner because there are so much to learn from golf.

I haven't been playing frequent enough nowaday due to work.

Hope to have more fun time with this forum and the members.

we need to stop people from saying that they are beginners.. from now on all GRian need to go SSN for a Proficiency Certification before they can be certified as beginner.

GR certified beginner. comes with BC card (beginner certification)
must do a swing test also.. ball fly more then 50m cannot be called beginner...

haha....

And then followed by 'validation' by buayees, and finally become full fledged GR golfer.

Definitley.....in addition to the above, the beginner (only) phrase is way over use and very misleading.....one should further qualify the beginner status.....eg. Very beginner...genuine beginner...pseudo beginner etc etc

.....Just me 'D' (Seasoned beginner)

hi there,
whether you're really a beginner or a seasoned golfer, there is truth in saying that there is so much to be learnt. maybe you just say you're a beginner because the lack of time to practice has made your skills less sharp
