| Hi all,
I was just wondering what your experiences are with the various Golf Balls that you have used over the course of your Golfing life.
I've recently been using the Tour Special Soft Feel from Pan West going at $20 for a box of 12, seems ok, only complaint I have is the cover does not seem too durable and scuffs quite easily. Have to retire them after a few holes to the chipping ball bag.
The other day I pulled out a NXT Tour by mistake and it seemed to go a bit further for the couple of holes I played with it at Marina as compared to the Tour Special. Cover scuffs slightly, but seems more durable than the Tour Special.
Recently got a box of Topflite D2 Soft Feel and hope to try them out this weekend.
Anyone has any recommendations for durable balls that don't feel like rocks? Preferably at a reasonable price?
My attack angle is not very steep and I generally take a pretty shallow divot with my shorter clubs. For the longer ones, sometimes I just brush the grass. I am not sure what spin would do for my game, have not reached that stage yet, so would appreciate any advice ....
Of course, the above refers to the good shots, I try not to think about the changkoling that occasionally (hopefully not often) occurs.
Thanks! |

| If I can play what I think I can play ...then NXT is best ....2nd hand only. |

have to agree on these two types. And add in srixon ad333. Between these 3, e6 least durable. IMO. |

| So far had tried almost all of Nike's range of balls, less Karma. Still find NXT Tour better, less the price... |

| I would recommend NXT Tour. You can do the ball fitting test for titleist @ www.titleist.com They have a inexpensive range which is the DT Solo. |

| Bridgestone's for me... Can try either the e6, e7 or B330RX or B330RXS...
Go to bridgestone.com... The RX330 is meant for amateurs like us who have >95mph swings |

| Seems like NXT tour quite well regarded. Will get a box and try. Anyway, despite my preference for some brands, on my weekly games, i usually use 2nd hand balls, no matter thx brand. so long can fly can Liao. Hehe |

Bra.... if you are not particular over brands, you should go to My Golf Shop and get the 3 for $1. You can pick and choose and most of them alooks as good as new type, shiny and scuffless. Guess its a one hit and water or OB in the bush type. Best to go on Tuesday or Wed as his new stocks comes in every Monday. No commission or anything but good deals got to share. Raymond, the owner is a nice guy and if he is free, you can get invaluable advice from him. As for NXT Tour if he has stock, it will be 12 for $10.
