played at springfield, black mountain and banyan.

here's some plus and minuses

springfield
+ good caddies
+ decently challenging but not overwhelming
- could be considered fairly "ordinary" (when in comparison with other courses) but still a pretty course

banyan
+ easy relaxing course
+ condition is immaculate
+ facilities (like rest stops, changing room, buggies) all tip top. like a resort spa feel
+ good marshals in controlling pace of play in between flights
- no minuses! except some folks may think it is too easy

black mountain
+ thinking man's course, course mgmt super impt
+ great fun coz it is challenging
- bring more balls if you can hit it long or straight... hence course mgmt is impt
- can get crowded

my fav: banyan but will like to return to black mountain to "conquer" it!

Banyan is brilliant. Unbelievable condition, well run and a super layout. You have to try it.

not to sure abt the domestic flight. normally the club van will wait for us at bkk airport. i was there in 2006 to take my course. played in imperial lake & stay there .
nice course & the bunker there not nice cos it using powder sand hear fr the caddy & when yr ball landed in the bunker & the ball will invisable ( like hor bao tan)
