At work huh? Working on your swing?

Was writing a overview on Japan's political situation.

But wishing I was on the course.

This weekend helping move a house, so no golf for more than a week.

Have a look at this:What I usually do is to aim to slot the clubface between the ball and the ground/matt. Sadly my backspin balls so far only happens in the range and with my Titleist SM wedge.

Same for me. I practise at Bt Batok range, & i love to see my ball spin & stop on the 50m & 75m 'greens'. HOWEVER, it seldom happens on the course. On course, most of the time the ball takes 2 hops & stop, no spin back. Many experienced golfers told me 1 of the main reasons is that most of M'sia & S'pore greens not ideal enuf for the balls to spin back, no matter how soft the balls u use. Is that true?

That's comforting but I've seen pros who play on local courses (on TV) and they are able to backspin. Must be ultra-well-kept greens in those instances, huh? I believe that the green matters but a well controlled shot should generate some backspin even if the green is barren or in not-so-good condition.
