According to NGT research, there are over 60 million golfers in the world today.

Only 5% will ever break 80.

* The average score on an 18-hole regulation golf course was 97 in 2004. Average score was 95 for men and 106 for women.

* The percentage of adult golfers by score category are:

Score under

80 (8% of golfers);

80-89 (20%);

90-99 (31%);

100-119 (30%); and

120 and above (11%).

* Average score is a statistic that is very unlikely to change over time, because the pool of golfers is constantly being refreshed by newer, less skilled ones. Also, average score increases as golfers age, which tends to balance out better scores by younger players.

I suppose include every golfer in the world, for which the % of pros would be insignificant in comparison to the 60 million golfers.

If i infer correctly....

1) golfers in the western part of Spore declared their HC much more than they played the game

2) those eastern folks will have a higher percentage of kenna buaya as they have no range for practise

true or not?

SS, comments sounds very familiar. I vaguely remembered abt the notorious GR member from the west. Although, I can't remember his name, I do believe the person stays in Clementi.

Wonder what is his name?
