my long shots are what's killing my score mostly...think if i can stop duffing and drive straighter and hence longer will be able to break 100.

anyway let me know when u r ranging.

oh no..i am fighting a bad slice off the tee, hitting high cuts caues i am blocking my shots. so i lose a ton of distance, think i drive only about 170 or less. no where near you, maybe the size of a carrefour between your drive and mine.

Nick, how do u know how long I drive? scratch

Anyway, there is no end to the elusive seeking of greater distances:

When u drive it 250, u wanna go 280

When u drive it 280, u wanna go 320

When u drive it 320, u wanna go 350...

U get the point. Simplify the game and the scores will drop.

I oni have 1 game thought.

Yea, I think the same way too.
Everytime I go the course the thought I have to is to "Birdie 18 holes*, if I get a bogey or par I will just have to birdie the rest. lol

i was told and taught " drive straight, dun care about the distance, even though if u only drive 170m, as long as it's staight and low dispersion, distance will eventually come when hit with much confident, only after lots of practise"....

but sadly, i'm still not able to do so....Sad

PP: I thot u want to close the thread liao?????

Eiji: to break 100, maybe should get zen putter like asahi who had a 29 putts recently Wink. That gives you approx. 4 shots to reach the green for every hole.

i have zen putter. last round have 4 1 puts, 3 3puts, the rest all 2 putt. total 35 puts for 18holes, so putting is fairly alright, but i hit a lot fat shots and bad drives.

I just want to share a round of golf I had yesterday @ Garden.
It was the qualification round for our annual Matchplay club championships.

I shot a round of 70 (38/32) and my stats are as follows.

Fairways 35%
GIR 72%
Putts 29 (Including 1 x 3putt)
Scramble (4/5)

Been working with my coach Drew Dubberlin for 1.5 months now, looks like my drive is still like Sh*t.

*Thanks to Jonathan aka JonL_TK for joining me and suggesting me to shoot under yesterday.
Think must the Singapore Flag on your ball lah!!! You so patriotic...
Nonetheless... If you need motivational support for the upcoming Match Play... Am readily available for a "fee" of course!!!

wah piang....I am not worthy lah....to be even mentioned in the same thread as PP, Slinger, S70B, itself is already an honour. All I am hoping is to caddy for any of you.....

But have to say lor, today quite lucky, 1 chip 1 putt (repeated 6 times) = 6 pars....heng ah!!!!

Cos u r so adorable wat.

Anyway, pls help make a game happen hor. I am also itching for foursome bets. Friendly friendly $20-50 kind also shiok.

Yanks here dun believe in betting more than $5 on the course unless its in Las Vegas where the high rollers do it with five or six figures.

It's not that we don't like a little wager to keep the game interesting, it's that if you're from Singapore you can't not wager $20-$50 minimum........I saw it as a requirement on the PC test!!!

Cheers, KT!!
