Testers, Kindly answer these questions!
Thank You once again

Q1. Product Name: Vision Distance (Yellow)

Q2. First Impression of the Ball: Yellow was nice and bright, I am open to using colored balls. Upon teeing off, the ball flight was nice, could tell the ball was designed to be low spin as i tend to fade and slice. Was most impressed with shots around the green as the ball did check and rolled very nicely unlike other distance type balls which tend to roll a lot more.

Q5. Short Game (Wedge): Very nice feel off the wedges, for a distance type ball, it gave decent control, similar to e6 and nxt.

Q6. Short Game (Putter): Feel off the putter was a tad muted, roll was true, could be the Zen putter that gave the nice roll, but not discernable.

Q7. Overall Feel: Definitely better feel compared with 2 -cored distance balls.

Q8. Durability: Ball scuffs easily, after 2-3 full wedge shots with my CG14s, some of the cover was scuffed, lost the ball due to OB before the end of the round, so hard to really comment.

Q9. Notice anything about the cover of the ball?
No, not really, was there something special about it.

Q10. How much would you expect to pay for the ball?
When i knew about the price from jon, i thought it was a decent price, its main competition in this range would probably be Top Flight V2 Gamer for about the same price.

Q11. Conclusion
Overall, the ball was above average for distance type balls with good control for the short game. If there was a rating system, i would give it a 6/10.

Q12. Would you convert to using these golf balls?
I might play the yellow balls during 9 hole games in the evening, the yellow or pink might be easier to spot when the sky starts getting dark.

Hybrid : not used
Irons : don't feel as hard and comparable distant nike juice plus

Q4. Accuracy (Dispersion): don't draw or fade as much and manage to stay in play all the time till the 17th hole on a par3, i topped the tee shot and it went straight into the pond and lost it

Q5. Short Game (Wedge): slightly longer and solid feel

Q6. Short Game (Putter) : abit mute

Q7. Overall Feel : feels good and don't mind playing with it more often

Q8. Durability : it withstanded 16 holes of abuse

Q9. Notice anything about the cover of the ball? feel abit waxy/slippery

Q10. How much would you expect to pay for the ball? same as nike juice plus?

Q1. Product Name: Pinky Gel - Long & Straight (Game Improvement)

Q2. First Impression of the Ball
Looked a little plasticky. Didn't feel the dimples. Color was striking.

Q3. Distance:
Driver: Felt that I lost some distance but I acknowledge that I was playing against the wind.
Hybrid: As above.
Irons: As above.

Q4. Accuracy (Dispersion): Pretty good. Straight, as far as I can tell. Some dispersion with the driver but I tend to spray my drives anyway.

Q5. Short Game (Wedge): Didn't feel much difference as compared with my usual balls.

Q6. Short Game (Putter): Didn't feel much difference as compared with my usual balls.

Q7. Overall Feel: Not bad, but I didn't get enough game time to fully appreciate it.

Q8. Durability: Scuffed easily

Q9. Notice anything about the cover of the ball? Seemed to have a sheen around it which gave it the plasticky or waxy look.

Q10. How much would you expect to pay for the ball? A dozen for $60 tops.

Q11. Conclusion: 7/10

Q12. Would you convert to using these golf balls?
I guess it all boils down to price for me. If it's affordable, then yes I would consider but I also need more gametime with the ball to get used to it.

-----

Q1. Product Name: Starbright Yellow - X-tra Shot Control (Shot Control)

Q2. First Impression of the Ball
Looked a little plasticky. Didn't feel the dimples. Color was striking but wasn't easy to spot mid-air or on course (especially if it's a sunny day).

Q3. Distance:
Driver: Didn't try.
Hybrid: Didn't try.
Irons: Felt that I lost some distance but perhaps it was at the expense of better control. Low spin ball?

Q4. Accuracy (Dispersion): Good. Managed to control the ball with my irons (I used this more for the Par 3s).

Q5. Short Game (Wedge): Great. Could feel the control but felt that there was perhaps too much traction on one of the shots (could be the swing I took for that shot).

Q6. Short Game (Putter): Oddly, it felt a little muted.

Q7. Overall Feel: Not bad, but I didn't get enough game time to fully appreciate it.

Q8. Durability: Scuffed easily though I did use the ball more for my short game.

Q9. Notice anything about the cover of the ball? Seemed to have a sheen around it which gave it the plasticky or waxy look.

Q10. How much would you expect to pay for the ball? A dozen for $60 tops.

Q11. Conclusion: 8/10 (I like the control I got from the ball though I'm not sure how long the ball will last given that it scuffed easily)

Q12. Would you convert to using these golf balls?
I guess it all boils down to price for me. If it's affordable, then yes I would consider but I also need more gametime with the ball to get used to it.

Q1. Product Name: UV Yellow - Long & Straight (Game Improvement)

Q2. First Impression of the Ball
Super bright yellow staring back at me when I tee it up. Colour does makes it stands out and makes it easier to concentrate on the ball when teeing. Easy to spot on fairway and rough.. Sounds compact when hit and launch was straight. Surprising not hard when hit.

Q3. Distance:
Driver - Didnt notice any difference to usual ball
Hybrid - Didnt managed to try
Irons - No noticeable difference

Q4. Accuracy (Dispersion):

Didnt managed to get many shots to tell due to a bad hit resulting in the ball disappearing behind green.. but from the few shots, ball generally went straight.

Q5. Short Game (Wedge)

No noticable difference

Q6. Short Game (Putter)

No noticable difference

Q7. Overall Feel

Feels compact when hit but due to limited shots with the ball, cant really provide much feedback on this.

Q8. Durability

Does scuff easily.

Q9. Notice anything about the cover of the ball?

Nope.

Q10. How much would you expect to pay for the ball?

$50 tops.

Q11. Conclusion

Ball does deliver the results (from the limited shots I had with them). Pretty impressed.

Q12. Would you convert to using these golf balls?
Likely if the price is right.. and the assortment of colours makes them identifying them easy.

=========================================================

Q1. Product Name: Bright White - X-tra Shot Control

Q2. First Impression of the Ball

Not as brightly coloured as the UV Yellow.

Q3. Distance:
Driver - Slightly shorter but could be because I was playing against the wind when using this ball.

Hybrid - Didnt try

Irons - A tad shorter but again, could be the strong head wind..

Q4. Accuracy (Dispersion):

Gave pretty decent dispersion but will need to get more shots on it to be more conclusive.

Q5. Short Game (Wedge)

Ball does seems to check and roll lesser than usual ball.

Q6. Short Game (Putter)

No noticable difference

Q7. Overall Feel

Not too bad..

Q8. Durability

Slight scuffing after the 1st hit.

Q9. Notice anything about the cover of the ball?

Nope.

Q10. How much would you expect to pay for the ball?

$50 tops.

Q11. Conclusion

Had quite a good experience with the ball, though have to test out on normal conditions, i.e. not so windy conditions.

Q12. Would you convert to using these golf balls?

Determinant will be the price as well as how the ball can hold up against 18 holes of play.

Q1. Product Name:
White X-tra Shot Control

Q2. First Impression of the Ball
A little pearlescent. Cover feels soft to the touch but not gripy. think bridgestone e6.

Q3. Distance:
Driver : sounds like e6. plays like e6
Irons : i got my expected usual distance

Q4. Accuracy (Dispersion): holds the line well in the wind.

Q5. Short Game (Wedge): soft feel, lacks bite on the green like the e6.

Q6. Short Game (Putter) : putts well. soft feel. better than e6 in the putting department.

Q7. Overall Feel : feels better than the e6 overall, but very close

Q8. Durability : scuffs just as easy as e6

Q9. Notice anything about the cover of the ball? seems to have a thin transparent layer

Q10. How much would you expect to pay for the ball? same as e6, $35?

Q11. Conclusion : possible e6 replacement.

Q12. Would you convert to using these golf balls? Maybe

Q1. Product Name: UV Yellow (5) - Long and Straight (Game Improvement)

Q2. First Impression of the Ball
Ans: The striking yellow definitely caught my eye. With the slight transparent cover, it gave a gel like appearance with a soft feel to it.

Q3. Distance:
Driver: @240M-Longest i achieved. Very straight ball flight with good roll.
It definitely feels harder than it appears.
Hybrid: Not used
Irons: Good compression. Bounces off easily upon impact.

Q4. Accuracy (Dispersion): Goes where i want it to be. Thumbs up for accuracy.

Q5. Short Game (Wedge): Good bounce. Checks nicely on the green for a hard ball.

Q6. Short Game (Putter): Gives more feedback and feel. Good roll.

Q7. Overall Feel
Did a comparison with Callaway warbird and i must say i am impressed with Vison golf balls.
More distance and greenside control although it definitely feels harder.

Q8. Durability: Scuffs easily.

Q9. Notice anything about the cover of the ball?

Q10. How much would you expect to pay for the ball? within the range 35-50.

Q11. Conclusion: It definitely have a place in my bag. Will definitely be my ball of choice for the long holes.

Q12. Would you convert to using these golf balls?
If Yes, Why? I won't be a total convert as i am used to playing different balls on different holes. But i will have them in my bag.
If No, Why?

Hi Guys, thanks for the feedback on my Vision designs as Jon's efforts to
gather some regular player feedback have been appreciated.

A quick bit of background on our company, I grew up in Singapore in the 70's
when my father Bill was one of the leading players. We all represented Singapore
national golf teams at one time or another during our 10 years.

Bill and I worked with Titleist/Footjoy and Pinnacle for 24 years here in Australia as
their main distributor and on their International Leadership team until I retired 5 years
ago.

Since then I have been working on my own Hi Visibility performance golf ball designs
that are finding a place with the bags of many regular players that are looking for
a straighter ball.

I hope the future embraces my fresh ideas and looking at the Japanese market I
believe the better visibility products will have a good future around the world.

Thanks again for the support and thanks also to Jon for making this great effort.

Reagrds,
Boz Wayne Bosley

Hi Slinger, thanks fo posting the images as it is always helpful to see the post look
of the balls being trialled. The X3 cover material is an ionomer blend at present and
can be partially restored post game with a light scouring pad (kitchen cleaning type)
and some cream cleanser like Jif/Ajax, this will lift the dirt from the slight shear spots
and smooth outh the edges with not real egffect on flight performance.

The dimple pattern I am using is setup in a tradiional 1 seam contruction but has a
multiple straight dimple line arrangement to help with straighter ball flight and putting
roll.I am working on a hidden seam structure at the moment more for the cosmetics
than anything as the current "seamless" designs don't make any real difference to play.

We have been testing with many players around the world these past three years and
the putting thing is consistant please allow a half ball less than normal for every 1.5m
of putt length as they do not break as much as most balls.

Thanks again for the support,
Boz. (Wayne)

Q1. Product Name: UV Yellow & Star Bright Yellow

Q2. First Impression of the Ball - love the look, especially the starbright yellow but I was having difficulties marking the ball with my sharpie.

Q3. Distance: both have similar feel as proV1x and proV1

Q4. Accuracy (Dispersion): pretty straight, a tad more forgiving than proVs

Q5. Short Game (Wedge): produce enough spin (starbright has softer feel)

Q6. Short Game (Putter): Lost the UV in the bush before had a chance to putt it, but starbright feels between proV1 & proV1x

Q7. Overall Feel: enjoyed them especially how easy it was to see the ball flight & finding the ball on the fairways/light rough

Q8. Durability: uv is pretty resilient but starbright scuffed faster (unfortunately lost both hence can't take pictures)

Q9. Notice anything about the cover of the ball?
Uv looks really sleek, almost couldn't see the dimples.
Starbright definitely reminded me of maxfli noodle Ice.

Q10. How much would you expect to pay for the ball? : of course the cheaper the better but I can go as far as $30/doz

Q11. Conclusion : Both are very good qualities balls (starbright is easier to scuff) that produce the required distance, spin and more importantly feels.

Q12. Would you convert to using these golf balls? Yes ,given the price is good I have no qualm replacing my proVs with these babies

Hi FB and WmyF, thanks for the detailed reports as it is very helpful in regards
to players perceptions and where I still have some work to do.

The cover material is Flexigel (ionomer)which I am using in different blends
at present to help with more or less spin depending on the model.

We are testing a newer Nano Flexigel (durathane blend) at present to see if
I can achieve better durability and improve on the UV's glowing Staybright ability.

Thanks for the support and to Jon, as this has been an excellent Test Pilot trial
and has helped as much as a similar one we have just concluded in the UK.

Cheers,
Wayne. (Boz)
