MM Lee: "If you start saying "Oh, I'm old' and you start reading novels or playing golf or playing chess or Scrabble, you're on your way down."

Are you on our way down? If you think so, stop reading novels, stop playing chess or Scrabble. Just stick to golf. Amen.

i think he is not aware that times r changing n kids are playing golf. my son, 11 years old can drive 150m and played 55 from red tee at Dendro, Orchid Country Club.

In fact, more young ppl r taking up golf. Gone r e days tat only CEO, VP, Towkays and retirees take up golf.

I think you are on your way down if u play golf to keep fit.

You should keep fit to play golf

We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence then, is not an act, but a habit.

if i am getting paid millions to keep on working, as a CEO oor company boss, i will. How many SG retirees play golf!!!! Most of them cannot even afford to pay for bus fare. Its not like JB where weekdays games are cheap.

guess he has been hanging around too many rich CEOs, where 'working' for them is more mental decisions making (work in their Armani suits, going for meetings, where a tough day at work is traveling to other countries etc) than actual labor jobs. These ppl can actually work till very old. I dont see many retirees working at the production line
