my very first set was a wilson deep red like 8 yrs ago.. as far as I can remember, they are a very forgiving clubs...

would suggest you visit far east shopping and look around for 2nd hand clubs that is cheaper than that, and if you are really just beginning the game, just get irons first. Woods and Drivers at the starting stages not important.

Also get yourself a putter too.. so that can practice at those par 3 courses in SG.

Hi bomby,

Thanks for the feedback.

For used clubs, golf lesuire @ fareast or creative @ Kreta Ayer best to purchase?

Cheers

I would recommend Greenfield @far east. All my clubs are from them.

i guess the price is for a set of used clubs... depending on the model, it may not be a bad idea

Bro Bomby, I suggest you put out a want to buy beginner set here at the market place. I am sure you will get a good set here. Try to look see if there is any Callaway like old models. After sometime when you have improved enough to go for a better set, you will still be able to sell off your set. But I doubt anyone will want to buy a Wilson set after you want to upgrade. JMHO
