Folks,
Not just when you play oversea but if you dont have a data plan, its not worth for you to browse internet on 3G. Its bloody expensive. i.e. 70MB cost abt sg300 and a data plan for 1GB can be as cheap as sg12.
Bottom line, if you don't want to pay-and-pay on data, please do not browse. in fact, you can call up singtel directly to switch off 3G data browsing. It really save money. I was spending abt sg136 last month and it dropped to sg95 this month.

I know M1 has unlimited data for international roaming! Only applicable to Blackberry users though...
Doesn't work if you sign a Blackberry contract and put sim in a smartphone... Data will be registered as Sunsurf and not as Blackberry.net

For iphone users, they can just switch it off from the settings. under the "data roaming" . not sure about other smart phones, best is to check with them.
