pushslice, just get a set of blades 2nd hand and work at it. But make sure you get the right shafts for your swing, or you WILL suffer. I suffered with my King Cobra Pro MB irons until I swopped out from DG S300 to PX 5.0 non-flighted.

The size difference between a midsized head and a blade isn't as much as you think. It's more the offset and topline, and once you go blades, you never go back.

no leh i going back and forth, waiting for you to poison me when u back...cause i think i might switch to AP2 real soon.

i need to train my arms to hold the angles better, still release way too early...medicus weighted club so expensive...wanna buy one to swing but home no space.

My point is: if you practice and work hard to get that great ball-striking... in time you will automatically shoot lower scores. Wink

S70B, you are right, when you have the ball striking........automatically the score will lower in time to come.
However, majority of us still have a lot of work on that area........so their priority should be on the ball striking.
As why you choose scores over ball striking, I guess it is because you are already competent in that area.(Ball Striking)
When you are at this stage it is all mental..........this is why we see all the pros can come up with all the magical moves! Like the chip done by Tiger at the Masters etc....

So brother, we are at different league la!

I think 1stly, you guys shouldn't put ppl like me on a pedestal. If u ever have a round w me, u will probably walk away disappointed thinking how a person like me can be a single hdcper w such ball striking skills.

The difference is about game n cse mgmt which I have learnt n improved over the yrs. It just means playing smartly at times and that will always help tons.

Next, understanding ur own limitations is another. If u are forever seeking 300 Yd drives w 80+ mph SS, u r prob also gonna be disappointed.

And Slinger, I am def ready for u. Wink

Duval put it this way.

MP 68 is the real solid muscles ( or fats)
MP 58 it looks like solid muscles but actual fact it is silicone!

If you are looking for a good training aid you can try the one that helped me the most. It's a weighted club that you can buy from Golf & Leisure Sports on 2nd floor of Far East Shopping Center. They are the ones who also bring in Superman drivers and Miura and have a showroom for that. Look for Michelle, tell her Kenneth from Dubai referred you and that you are looking for the training aid that looks like a cut-off, bent iron with a heavy weight at the end. It's only SGD35 and is great for developing stability, swing plane and getting the feel of the release.

Is it the Indian couple who runs the shop?

ghoonk, check out Mizuno's TN87 and see if you like it. A friend is selling his, regretfully, and it is such a waste if it goes to a a guy who has no idea that he is getting a masterpiece not just some blade...

Yarra, sounds good. Am certainly keen on them, let me know the price and how much offset there is. Any chance you can email me some pics of the irons from the top?

Hi Yarra, what is so good about this model?
I always like old traditional forged iron.
Are they as soft as the Miaura?

Supposed to be softer than miura. But I hear there is more offset than on the miura MB-5003 and on the tm rac mb irons. Suppopsed to be a progressive offset where the short irons have more offset than the long irons. Can you confirm?

I was told the underlying material is copper.
That is why it is so soft.

It looks like the ikasu MBs. I never hit a miura blade before but only the cavity. But comparing to most models, i think the ikasu is one of the softest i have hit. Blade lovers should like it. Clean and no nonsense club. Quite forgiving too.
