| there are a few names and until they put it in play, its best to name those who are on these for the moment... One of the pros who hit Prom Meesawat driver - the Titleist 909 D3 was impressed with the performance and starting this week will be using the Proto K in 70 X over his current Graphite Design D7-X. it will be making its debut in Taiwan next week. Can you recognise him without his golf outfit??? haha must say he looks a little like me in my younger days... DGman |

| DGman - I have tried many top-end driver shafts, and nothing comes close to the Proto-K so far. The next best alternative that I am satisfied with so far is the Speeder 757, followed by the Speeder 553 |

Sadly not yet... I have it with another long drive head (Alpha) instead. You are free to try of course. |

Think he's only about 1.65 m. He mentioned the other day at a Callaway event that he drives the ball 300 yards, and that's not even 100% all out yet.
And I'm taller than him by 3cm and only drive it 230 yards all out. *sigh* |

| My fitter is around 1.5 heads shorter than me and he drives the ball at least 30 yards past mine consistently. He nukes it because he can, but I don't because I can't, and I make up some ground with my short game, and lose out in the bigger game as he is killer with irons and his putter |

| Well Ghoonk, he may nuke it, but you still bomb it. I'm just a firecracker in comparison. I don't cos I really can't. and now I shall jump over to dispersion vs distance thread to chime in with my 2 cts. |
