| Anybody played Mercure Palm Resort before? Any advice? thanks in advance!  |

| I think tons of GRisans have played there b4. except I didn't know there was a Mercure before the Palm Resort name..
i have not been there for years already...
but its got 3 courses.. more info on the website. better that someone who played there recently comment on the course conditions.. |

| Mercure is the name for the resort hotels...i think used to be sofitel... palm resort 3X9 remain the same name ,..chempaka,alamanda and ...i forgot the other 9. Focal point , Taskis and me had just had a round of golf 2 weeks ago |

| After I leave SNN in Singapore on last Wed. I just played in Horizon Hill and Palm Resort course on Sept 16 & 17 and stay a night in Mercure Hotel (room Rm 250.70 nett with 2 breakfast ).
I played alamanda and chempaka course on same day Sept 17 .. It is my 1st time there, course condition was okay .. You need to try the tournament course CHEMPAKA .. this course almost "eat me up" but I like it, challenging indeed from blue tee.

3rd nine is call Melati.
When the resort was under Sofitel, things were cheaper. e.g no need to pay extra for towels unljke last Dec when I was there; charged RM10 for extra towel. |

| yes i find it costly... paying RM 500+ for stay and play for 2 pax?! |

| At this pricing, me think better to go Pulai Spring.
Pay slightly more for better facilities. |

That is correct. Palm Resort has 3X 18. (Chempaka, Allamanda, Melati)
@slicer51 you sleeping ah? Just played there and can give wrong info. tsk tsk tsk....

?? I am not sleeping but I also never mention 3x9. I just say I played alamanda and chempaka courses on same day Sept 17. In other words, I played total 36 holes ( morning 18 & afternoon 18 ).
