Actually it's even more interesting to hear (post round interviews) about the admiration the 2 have for each other. Great sportsmanship there!

I'm hoping Paddy will do better for Rd 3 to have the last day with TW again in the final group. That would be something to watch, even though it's a tall task since Tiger has been perfect 8-0 when leading a major after 36-holes.

Paddy is kicking butt today. 1 behind TW now.

Ernie is also playing catch up.

Too bad Tiger will be playing the 4th Round with YE Yang & not PH. But too bad for all the others too, cos Tiger's record for 54-holes lead in a major is 14-0.

I'm very impressed with Yang. I think that this will be a good test for him. He's played very well so far and if he can challenge Tiger, his name will go into record books Smile

First of all, I am a Tiger Fan...... But nowadays, maybe it is due to age...but I appreciate more the way Padddy carry himself...thru good days or bad days or good shot or bad shots....really awesome....ie no cursing, no tossing of clubs....

For this once, I will be rooting for Paddy...if he win, I will go for my Irish stew next weekend.

Yah, PH is classy. And, there's something about the tongue-sticking out action which makes him unique Smile

I am wondering if there will be another playoff to end this last major of the year...

If the playoff really happens... I wish to see PH and TW going one on one Laughing

The battle is now between Yang and TW.

As for PH, how did he score an 8 on the Par 3 8th???

TW and Yang, both bogeyed the 17th. Yang is still a shot ahead. 18th hole. Pressure's on TW. Game on folks!! Smile

On PH's disaster, here's what I got from Auclair's Blog on PGA.com (the last paragraph says it all):

Auclair's Blog wrote:
3:40 PM CDT -- Got word a few minutes ago that Harrington made a huge number on the par-3 eighth. Can we get confirmation, Mr. Editor?

If that's the case, after Tiger's bogey at No. 8 -- it took three shots to get on the green -- and Yang's par -- he missed a 6-foot birdie try -- the two are tied for the lead at 6 under with Paddy now out of sight.

Editor's Note: Huge is not the word. Gargantuan is more like it. Ireland's favorite son made a quintuple-bogey 8 on the eighth, with two balls in the water, a chunked chip and one shot that nearly hit his playing competitor Henrik Stenson, who was standing next to the green. When the dust settled, Harrington had fallen from 6-under to 1-under and out of contention. Say goodnight, Paddy.

Yang's 2nd on the 18th was amazing. A 3 hybrid shot to about 10 feet from the hole. Unbelievable.

All bets are now firmly on Yang!

Come on TW, hole out for the 2nd!!!

Yang wins it! With a birdie on the last. Wins by 3, with TW bogeying the last.

Sorry, TW... close, but not this time.

I felt bad for TW too but he didn't quite capitalize. He had a couple of opportunities but the flat stick didn't work for him today.

Bad start? Because TW lost?

Aiyah, MC... give others a chance Smile Besides, it's nice to see an Asian take home a major for one Smile

I acutally beg to differ. Well not beg; I differ!!!
YE Yang had a beautiful round. and as an asian, I am rather happy that he managed to rip the trophy out of the hands of Tiger to bring it back to Asia.
