i think its the 2nd time YE Yang is doing this to TW. the ifrst time was HSBC in Sheshan Shanghai when he was on the Asian Tour.

Well done Iceblocc look alike....even the swing looks a little bit alike.

and best thing is he has to play the qualifier to play in this event.

a truly well deserved win for a very determined golfer with nerves of steel.

YE Yang had a beautiful round. and as an asian, I am rather happy that he managed to rip the trophy out of the hands of Tiger to bring it back to Asia.

I second that... the fact that he turned Pro at 30-ish made it even sweeter...

He is the tiger slayer...

Tiger has only himself to blame... +3... he only needs -1 to win.

At 2006 HSBC Champions Tournament. Tiger recvd. US2million appearance money. Tiger was Yang by 2 strokes then.
Today I watched Tiger being Yang again. Yang make the approach shot at the 18th. hole with a 3 utility club (Anybody wants to sell a TM 3 utility?). As you all know, he made the 8ft. birdie putt to beat Tiger by three strokes. Pure drama. Cheers Jump
What mades Tiger a Champion is his uncanny abillty to make clutch putts, today his clutch putting let him down big time.

So anybody going to go to 2009 HSBC-WGC tournament to see Tiger Yang drama again?
No more appearances money for these PGA golfers.

Why go?

So with the conclusion of this last Major....naturally there will be a reflection...just read that Mr.Geoff Ogilivy complained of the setup of the course in Haseline....

Bro/Sistas: Can someone explain why there is such complain....all play in the same course mah??? So complain about what???

Read on Straits Times... In short, the complain is that the par 5 is too long, benefitting the long hitters...

Well, Tiger's had fabulous pitches and runs before... the 16th hole at the 2005 Masters is a classic example. So, he can't be too upset. Sometimes, he gets them (actually most times) but there are other times when others play just as well.

I like what the commentator said when Yang sank the final shot at the 18th... it was something about how Tiger now knows what it feels like to be at the receiving end of things.
