Haha... did you know that Vijay was refused M'sian citizenship once? Apparently, he had many years ago applied to be a Malaysian citizen but got turned down. This is because his wife, Andrena Seth, is a Malaysian. He had also played (and won) the Malaysian Open in the 80s and worked in Sabah.

Funny... if only he was Malaysian today.

because he was not ahmad vijay singh.....

otherwise malaysia would be blowing their own trumpet for having a champion like vijay!

amazing stuff..

handling the aura of tiger and his fans just adds to the pressure. it was definitely THE chip of all chips, oh and not forgetting the over the tree shot.

i think kimchi land must be rejoicing like crazy.. they worked their ladies well, and with this, they are enroute to be the next powerhouse of golf.

just fantasizing for a 3 way rydercup: us, eu, and korea (hmm asia more realistic).

It's unlikely Yang will beat Woods' career record.

It's highly likely that Tiger will beat Jack Nicklaus' record of life-time wins within a few years.

Yang does have good prospects but if you look at the lists of major championship winners over the years, many appear on the winner list only once, and others only a few times.

If TW can do the Grand Slam, he will have matched the great Bobby Jones' record.

14 out of 15 is still a phenomenal record.

There's always luck. I think TW also got lucky in some situations. He admitted after one of the rounds (I think the 2nd) that he was quite fortunate and the day could've gone either which way. Sometimes, it works in your favor. Sometimes, it doesn't.

Wasn't he banned on Asian Tour becasue he was wrongly accused of being a cheat?

Is that the reason he was denied Malaysian citizenship?

Of course he can forget about Sg citizenship.
