I've recently tried doing this too and I've also realized that it does help. However, I've also noticed that this increases the chance of me pulling my shot, i.e. releasing my club horizontally more than vertically. As a result, the ball hooks.

hi bro, yes i have the same experience as well.
To me, i find the above problem easier to manage than slicing the ball.
I guess, the main purpose of this drill is to get the feel of hip turning because excessive hip turning could end up slicing the ball.
With this drill, it actually limit the hip movement and hopfully that could help me to reduce my slicing problem...hehe

This is a great drill as it gives you the correct turn and reduces the excessive hip clearing. Give you alot more room to get the club to come back more from inside. I use this drill very often and alot of my students use it on the course when playing as they hit the ball so much better.

thanks pro...i'm still trying hard to correct my slicing problems...hehe

Oh Casio.
Tats the one I tried on the demo at Toa Payoh range.
No demo on video though.. only taken many shots per sec of my swing..
So, they printed on a photograph which looks like those golf digest driver swing shots.

CFO dun like Casio.. so no chance..
When I back in SG, i date u to MBGC. But u mus be my camerawoman!
Take my iron, woods, hybrid & driver from my front and side. cheers

Hahaha!!!
They should highlight "PG"... Pro-Guidance
Actually, it happened to me as well..

That kinda follow-thru.. both arms stretched straight out until 90deg then left arm bend..
I sprained my waist as well.

Now scared ler..
Bend my arm slightly earlier before 90deg. keke.
Never use full strength..
Somehow copying those pros help lah.. Helped me to relax and not sprain my waist..
I played better. keke.

Now I still trying to watch & copy.. but more on the swing plane..
How not to slice and how they use their waist and lower body to exert power.

After take video from Moonie, you can copy mine. Bahaha!!!
Afraid you can see my fats wobble.
