PostSubject: Virtual Golf - Maxswing   Thu Dec 23, 2010 9:18 am

Tried searching "maxswing" but no returns. Anyone is a member there?
I just went with my friend yesterday, quite fun though. But din't manage to finish all 18holes.

We played for 1.5hours with 4balls, manage 6th hole only, 3 of us new, only 1 of us is experience there.

Anyone also frequent there also, quite fun leh, thought of buying credits too Razz

But heard there is 1 more virtual golf at Bras Basah, anyone also try it? Do you guys think it will help to improve your game?

The one at Bras Basah is called V-golf.

tried Maxswing during the launch of Diablo Octane.

Both simulators are different.

I prefer Maxswing's simulator coz they do not any sensors sticking out but the tee can be a bit low at the highest height for some people. Did not try putting.

For V-golf, it is the typical Korean simulators, similar to Swing golf (close down) and revolution golf. The hitting area ground will move to simulate the gradient of the fairway/rough. When putting, if the ball is within 3.8m from the hole, a hole will really appear on the ground. the ground will also move to simulate the gradient of the green

Tried Maxswing once. Can share if the distance is accurate compared to range or course.
I thought my swing was further with the simulator but know it's not when at driving range.
Care to share? Thanks.

i think the membership is $300. but you will be getting $350 or $400 (not sure) worth of credits... this credit amount will just be deducted every time you book their facilities...

when you finish using your credit, just purchase more if wish...

dun think i am in a good position to share if the distance is accurate as my swings are still very inconsistent... however, i would think that the distance that i have for pw, aw, and 9i are more or less the same for maxswing and range...

wow didnt know so many GR members also go to maxswing.... i go there very often too... there is no membership fees...... just that to enjoy VIP member benefits u need to do the 1st top up at $300.00... and rest assure the $300.00 is all yours to use.... no $$$ is deducted for anything except when u book for bay or rooms...... Smile

so its really worth it for VIP members every 1hr u book u get 30 mins more (normally they will give 45min more)...... also u get drinks for free.... they have league events also where u can win great golf equipments and maxswing credits..... before anyone start jumping saying i am advertising for them..... hahahaha i am not working there..... i am just a hard core fan which have improved alot in my game due to training in maxswing.... Smile

The distance when i train in the driving range is quite accurate.... so far when i go to the course using the same gauge its accurate..... just sharing my 2 cents

i'm a vip member there as well.
hardly go there now due to moving office location.

not a bad place, used to go there during lunch time but putting wise it's an entirely different beast altogether. it's just unreal if you get what I mean.

but if you just want to whack the ball, then it's a good place. They also got camera etc and a resident pro that you can engage to analyze your swing.

have fun boys.
