Executive. if no flight behind u, can tee off many times or drop 3-4 balls and practice chipping/pitching onto the green Smile

For Executive and lots of other courses in JB ... it has to be weekdays. Weekend at Executive is definitely impossible, the queue is like aunties and uncles waiting for the free newspaper at MRT stations.

Don't get me wrong but why would you wanna play alone? If you need flightmates, just ask around. Someone will surely wanna tag along Smile

As for playing alone, my guess would be some of the courses in JB, perhaps the lesser ones like Permas Jaya. It also depends on what time over the weekend. Early morning are usually busy. The best time would be Sunday afternoon, I think.

Me have played my best when alone--no distractions and can curse loudly after bad hits without offending anybody else.

Very rare to play alone in full courses in Singapore.

Occassionally, the GMs or Golf Managers in Singapore will let play alone (or with one of the golf staff) if I am covering their course for an upcoming published article.

Camraderie on the course is good also--especially mixed sex groups.

Changi GC allows solo play on weekdays. Not sure about weekends.

i used to play at Changi GC, solo flight regilarly. but that was about a year ago. you can try. i believe that there are special rates for nsrcc, golf kaki and aagn members, about $30-40 for 9-holes.

YOU CAN PLAY ALONE IN 9 HOLES, EXECUTIVE GOLF COURSE, MANDAI TOO. GO ON MONDAYS, YOU FEEL THE COURSE IS LIKE YOURS.

i used to play "alone" at NSRCC... joint flights with ppl i do not know...

well reason is tht sometimes i might juz play during office hrs out of the blue... too lazy to jio kaki's and go when the urge is there (but nowadays quite tough)

but sometimes it can be quite fun to know new ppl and observe their swing.. Smile

Most courses (SG or M'sia) don't allow golfers to play alone on a weekend cos it doesn't make bizness sense. However, i know Legends (JB) allow lone golfer only on Saturday early morning, like before 8 am. But i'm not sure if this is members' privileges or applies to guests too. In fact, I just played 27-holes there alone yesterday (i am a member there, & less golfers yesterday).

who8168: I just played 27-holes there alone yesterday

Lucky you!

My best score for 9 holes at Changi GC = 44 gross
NSRCC Exec Course = + 7 over par
EGC = + 5 over par
TGC (1st Tee GC) = +4 over par
JCC Exec Course = +6 over par.

If my scores for 9 holes on a full course were only so good.

Sad

Thanks for the advice so far. Well playing alone is when my kaki back out last minute and I don't want to miss out on a good weekend when my "CO" give me the weekend off.

IF YOU ARE SHORT OF BALLS, YOU CAN PM ME. I CAN PLAY ANYWHERE; BE IT LOCAL OR OVERSEA COURSES BUT THE DAY FOR GAME MUST FALL ON EITHER FRIDAY TO SUNDAY.
