Look for Daniel Chang at Bishan. His hp is 9853 3613. Believe me, he's GOOD! Just say Thomas & Cora recommended.

Have just finished lessons with YC law. Don't want to destroy his reputation here with a lengthy post. PM me if you want a review to his lesson.

Wish I read the reviews abt YC Law at Sin Ming before paying $750 upfront for individual lessons with him. He's the MIA coach who corrects your strokes for 5 or 10 minutes, then walks away to chit chat with others and doesn't return until 20 minutes later, corrects your strokes for another 5 or 10 minutes and walks away again. That's pretty much the all the attention you get in one "individual lesson". Soon he was taking group lessons during the same time slot for my "individual lesson". I got frustrated after a few lessons and stopped completely. Money down the drain.

Lost interest in golf for a year and it was only until I met another coach that I realised how much I was shortchanged by YC Law.

Thanks for the assurance.

Newbies beware, this coach may have planted moles in the forum to say how good he is and promote him. I know this because some people responded to my post above pretending to be starting out in golf, but if you trace their previous posts they have promoted YC Law heavily in the past.

Don't trust what the forumers say. Someone with a bitter experience may be out to flame this guy. Go down to the range and see yourself how he teaches. And watch how well his students actually do. These are the most accurate indicators.

This was the coach who refused to look at my driver swing when every single shot was slicing, and told me to just practise more to get it right. I will never forget his priceless advice!

When it comes to golf, you can spend all the time at the range practising by yourself but it's POINTLESS if you haven't already gotten the fundamentals right and your swing is all wrong. It's not only a waste of time but also downright discouraging when you know you're not hitting right.

And getting the fundamentals right takes a lot of practice, correction and re-correction with guidance from a good coach.

Word of advice for newbies - golf lessons don't come cheap, so do your due diligence before you decide on a coach.
