when hardened, this is lifted off the face...



it is cut into a small strip and place onto a digital magnifier...



this is immediately mapped against the approved groove configurations - spacing between grooves, groove type, groove depth, round edge on the outer V and rounded inverted V. Everything is captured, mapped and certified.

Udorn with his John Daly pants...poor guy injured himself after hitting a tree root on the first 9 yesterday. had to withdraw from the tournament.



i was told MM was practising till the sunset on tuesday with his new irons.
